Does TablePress have any kind of security features that can mask email addresses on a publicly published table? I have a table on my website that is a staff directory containing names and email addresses. Staff members receive various spam/phishing/scams/etc. and I wonder if part of that exposure comes from web scrapers reading the website.

Does Tablepress have any built-in functionality to hide information from those bots? Or mask it in some way? I’m just in the exploratory stage of solving this issue, so I may need to go a different route if this doesn’t exist here.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, TablePress does not have any feature integrated regarding obfuscation of email addresses. For that, I recommend to look for a separate plugin that can then maybe do that via a Shortcode that is inserted into the table cells.

    Hi Tobias,

Thank you for your response! I will do what you suggested and search out another plugin for this purpose.
