  • Hi @blackstar1991!

Thank you for checking the plugin with Plugin Check and bringing this to our attention.

To assist you further, could you please share screenshots of the issues reported by Plugin Check, especially the details of the errors or warnings you found? If there are 355 results, screenshots of a few representative examples along with the specific checks/messages would be helpful for us to investigate.

You can upload and share screenshots using Snipboard. Please make sure any sensitive information is blurred or removed before sharing.

Once we have the details, we can review the reported issues and pass the relevant findings to the development team if needed.

You can do this yourself; it’s the developers’ official plugin, and the full list of issues wouldn’t fit here.

I am shocked that WordPress allows you to release a plugin with so many problems.

    Hi @blackstar1991!

I understand your concern, especially after seeing a large number of findings in the Plugin Check report. Thank you for taking the time to run the check and bring this to our attention.

I’ll forward your feedback and the Plugin Check findings to our developers so they can review them. We’ll let you know if we receive any updates or additional information from the development team.

Thank you again for reporting this and for helping us identify areas that may need attention.

    Hi @blackstar1991!

    Thanks for sharing the details.

As a first step, please clear your site cache (caching plugin, hosting/server cache, and CDN such as Cloudflare if you use one), then clear your browser cache. and make sure you’re logged in to your WordPress.com account. Once done, please try configuring the Google for WooCommerce plugin again.

Please let us know if this resolves the issue.

I can’t do this. I’ve tried doing it in incognito mode in several browsers, but the app won’t let me sign up. https://monosnap.ai/file/7dafH2sZ0jNO0TJhje57CL4wze49Wg

    Hey @blackstar1991,

Looks like you are testing on a local site which cannot access outside URLs, such as WordPress.com.

To test this plugin on a public, temp site, you may use Jurassic Ninja.

@jasonkytros Perhaps you should add a more relevant answer for users?

    Hey @blackstar1991,

Apologies if I didn’t make this as clear as it could be!

Google for WooCommerce requires a site to be able to make requests to external services, such as WordPress.com and Google. A site running locally on localhost cannot make such requests and therefore, you will see an error notice when the request is not successful.

To connect and test Google for WooCommerce, you need to transfer your local site to a host. Alternatively, you can test it out for free on a WordPress.com host like Jurassic Ninja.

Let me know if any of the above is not clear!
