Searching Orders

With our current WooCommerce we are unable to use the Search function on the Orders page. It works on the Products page. Searching on the Orders page never finds any results despite the keyword. With our old configuration (old website), it worked just fine. “No orders found.” Any idea why this is happening? Everything else is working perfectly with our e-Commerce. Thank you!

It looks like the search function on the WooCommerce → Orders page is not working as expected, where searching for an order results in a “No orders found.” message, correct?

This is not something I am able to replicate on my test site which uses the latest version of WooCommerce core, as searching for existing orders displays the results as expected on my end:

Please can you clarify the following:
- Does this happen for all orders, or only specific order statuses (i.e. Pending, Complete)?
- Does this occur when searching in a specific way (i.e. by order number, customer name) or do all search terms result in the error message?
Also, can you please share the following so that we can take a closer look at your sites current environment, and any errors possibly being produced:
- System Status Report: you can find this via WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Download for Support. This will download a TXT file that has the contents of the SSR which you can then share with us here.
- Fatal Error Log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.

Hi Roxy, thanks for the response. Yes – it happens with any order status and happens with any keyword (order number, first name, last name). No error message but it doesn’t display results for anything. I have attached the report and the log here.
