you can try to enable wp search under Events > Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives > Include in WordPress Searches =Yes

It seems I missed that option.
Turned it on, but events still don’t show up in the search results.
I guess it should work. Could there be a caching problem of some sorts?
might be possible but that is if you are using a caching plugin.

Yes, I have Comet Cache installed.
What’s really funny is that I do see the events show up in de Search Everything result list (which pops up out of the regular search field). When I click on the event link, the correct page is shown. However, when I click the ‘show more’ link, no events show up in the window with the search results.
Since the Search Everything plugin works rather slowly, many users don’t wait for it to show its result links and instead just type ‘enter’, ‘return’ or click the magnifier glass to get to the result window. But unfortunately, events don’t show up in the result window.
If this is really a caching problem, it’s strange that the Search Everything plugin does see the events, while the wordpress search doesn’t see them. I can wait a few days for cache to clear automatically or perform a forced flush of the complete cache.
Do events appear in the normal WordPress search results if you deactivate the Search Everything plugin?

First, I have to make a correction to my previous post: where I wrote “Search Everything”, I meant “Dave’s WordPress Live Search”.
I have disabled Dave’s WordPress Live Search as well as Search Everything. Then tried the normal WordPress search, but the events are not shown.
They only show in the result list of Dave’s WordPress Live Search, where I can choose it to display the event page. Hitting the Dave’s WordPress Live Search show more option results in the same search results window as the normal WordPress search (without the events showing up).
I let Search Everything deactivated for now, since I don’t notice any difference.
What else can I try?
Which version of Events Manager and WordPress are you using?

Correction on the latest WordPress version, it’s of course 4.4.2
Do you still have “Include in WordPress Searches” set to Yes under Events > Settings > Pages > Event List/Archives?

Maybe this setting was reset when I upgraded to the PRO version.
Anyway, I set it back on and tested again. Unfortunately, things are still not working.

The search field is in the footer of the page. Type the keyword “Parijs” and if you wait a bit you will see a results list. Clicking on any of the results will open the targeted page. However, when you don’t wait for the results list and hit enter or return, or just click on the eyeglass, you will see only 2 results (instead of the 5 or so you could see before in the search result popup list.
I hope this narrows down the problem?
