    Hi, I have estatik pro.

    How country, cities and states are added to be able to search by state?
    Using shortcode [es_search_form layout=”horizontal” fields=”state”]

    how listings are added with addresses, state, city? because I do not see any field to add them?

    in the search engine the field appears gray and there is no field to enter the provinces when adding properties…

    If we create a custom field select with the states (that is not multiple) in the search engine, it always appears as multiple and we do not want it to be multiple.

    Also in these multiple custom selections always look for the last selected province ignoring the rest.

    Hi Andrew,

    When you add a listing via Add new listing, namely Address >> https://prnt.sc/mkqflb , such fields like city, state, country are automatically added to Data Manager >> Addresses.

    You do not need manually add these fields or create custom fields. These fields are alredy created within the plugin and filled in once you added a listing.

    What multiple selection you mean, can you please provide me url to the page with search?

    Hi in version 3.81 we create a field select with multiple NO.

    in the search engine it shows it correctly.

    But in version 3.82 we created a field select with multiple NO. (exactly the same)

    And in the search engine it shows a multiple select. incorrect

    It also makes the search wrong because it searches only for the last one selected.
    This is a bug of version 3.82 that should be corrected as soon as possible, please do you the test.

    Hi Andrew,

    There is no bug.. I think there is misunderstanding of the fields nature.
    Multiple means option to select several values for the field.

    When you select Multiple, you have a multi-select field in Add new property >> https://prnt.sc/mkzo50

    When you do not select Multiple, you have a drop-down >> https://prnt.sc/mkzokx

    It is always displayed in the same way (with multiselect option) on frontend in search widget and it works properly. The plugin will search for the property that will have all values you selected in this field.

    Excuse me but you are wrong. Why do not you check it IN VERSION 3.8.2?

    “When you do not select Multiple, you have a drop-down” DO NOT. NOT SELECT MULTIPLE AND HAVE MULTI-SELECT.

    Hi Andrew,

    This Multiple option https://screenshot.net/es/zd984hv has no relation to Search widget. It is associated only with the type of your custom field – wether you want to select one value or several.
    As you can see on screenshot I provided before >> https://prnt.sc/mkzo50

    So it doesn’t matter and never did in previous versions, if you enabled this Multiselect or not for SEARCH widget. You can see this functionality working only when you Add new property via admin area.
    Multiselect enabled >> https://prnt.sc/mkzo50 (enables you to select several values)
    Multiselect disabled >> https://prnt.sc/mkzokx (enables you to select only 1 value from a drop-down)

    The only thing that was changed in 3.8.2 that we made all searchable fields added by Fields Builder with multiselect feature as it is more functional than a simple drop-down and you still can select one option if you need.

    It also makes the search wrong because it searches only for the last one selected.
