What kind of search field do you mean? In the frontend? In the backend?
From a purely HTML point of view, you could probably turn an input field into an input-number field to achieve this. Then you can only enter numbers. But it depends on where you want to place the field?
hey,
I mean the Search in the Frontend, Like in this Forum in the top right Corner, i dont know where i can edit the Search Input field. An make Input Type Number.
Where you can edit the search field in your frontend depends on the theme you are using. This provides you with this field. As we do not know how your site is structured, we can only advise you to contact the support team of the theme you are using to get an answer to this question.
i use the Hello Theme from Elementor, but i use Not the searchbar from Elementor, i use the Standard WordPress search
I have activated Hello Elementor in a freshly installed WordPress. I don’t see a search field in the header. How and with what did you place it there?
OK, I notice there is probably no general config file for the search but rather theme based. Please excuse me because my statements are probably wrong. I use the hello theme and added the wordpress searche to the footer with the elementor builder.
I recommend getting in touch with Elementors’s support about this via https://elementor.com/support/ if you have Elementor Pro or https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/elementor/ if you do not.
so..the Elementor pro Support says, at the Moment there are no ways to make this…
So do you have any Others ideas how i can make it possible ?
Perhaps with individual programming. You can find an introduction to this here: https://developer.wordpress.org/plugins/
If you are not able to do this yourself, you may be able to find someone to do it for you here: https://jobs.wordpress.net
