Hi, here’s an image showing the problem: http://imgur.com/a/rAmt0
What I do is:
– switch language to english (default is italian)
– do a search using a word that’s in both english and italian products
Search result should only show english products and not italian ones.
The same apply when searching while in italian language, both languages appear.
@barb82
To clarify, what’s “English” and “Italian” products?
Do you have products that have ONLY English title and description, and not Italian?
(and vice versa)
I have checked your site.
I think you have incorrectly added text to posts.
First post (marked ENG) has text in English only.
You can compare
http://www.tecmet2000.it/provini/series-c106100-hitech-europe/
and
http://www.tecmet2000.it/en/provini/series-c106100-hitech-europe/
Second post (marked ITA ) has text in Italian only.
You can compare
http://www.tecmet2000.it/provini/pulitrice-serie-ap32-hitech-europe/
and
http://www.tecmet2000.it/en/provini/pulitrice-serie-ap32-hitech-europe/
But because these posts are different (have unique ID) they are showed in same page.

Yes, there are 6 categories with products in italian, but only one of those is translated (that’s on purpose), so there are a lot of products with only one language.

Ok, it appears that some products have an italian version and an english version on two distinct products (which is bad), along with duplicated categories too… I’ve taken over this site from another guy and frankly didn’t check that, guess I’ll have to modify the sctructure (categories/products) in order to use translation tools and not duplicate content…
Thanks for the help!
