Search shortcode attributes?

    I’m sorry if this is a silly question, but is it possible to use attributes with the search shortcode and if so, is there a list? At the moment we are using the FAQ with two languages (each divided into categories) and it would be awesome to limit the search results to one particular language or set of categories to avoid user confusion.

    Hi baffled,

    You should be able to use the “include_category” and “exclude_category” attributes in the [ultimate-faq-search] shortcode. For example, you could do something like the following: [ultimate-faq-search include_category=”my-category-slug”]

    Thanks! That works perfectly, I didn’t realise they worked with search too. I’m a very happy user 🙂
