Search results returning nothing

    I have an installation of directorist which is working fine except for the search. When I try and search in a category I get this URL:

    /single-category/?q=&in_cat=23

    with no results.

    However, if i then edit the url by hand and write in the category name like this:

    /single-category/mycategory

    it works and displays the correct results.
    Any ideas of how I get the search URL to format correctly?
