Search Results Page – Full width | WordPress.org

As mentioned really. I have put a search bar in the footer of my website, it works 100% correctly. However the results page follows the standard template, whereas I wish it to follow a ‘full width’ template. How can I do this please?

make a new search.php

Does your theme already use search.php to display search results? If so, alter it. If not, make one. The process for altering it is different per theme
