I see the problem is only for the ajax request done by your theme when making the search. Once you click the icon, it works correctly. I don’t know why the search preview does not work. Is your theme freely available?

I wonder why it does not work as it should. Polylang should filter all queries even when doing ajax. Did you contact the theme author?
