I do not understand what you are trying to do here. Please explain more what you are trying to achieve.
I type urls in the search box. And some of urls can’t be found, even they exist in the database. It can depend on “&” character, but some other urls containing “&” can be found. Very irregular behavior.
This is possible. My main question would be: can you find a post with the same content if you put a URL as a post title, then try to find it using the WordPress search?
I typed:
https://bpn.com.pl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=96&Itemid=170
as post title, after saving poste typed the same url in the search box an post APPEARED in search results.
All right. I am still trying to understand what you are trying to do though. Are you trying to get links to appear in general site search results? When you are querying a bunch of parameters? Itemid is not a standard WordPress query parameter as far as I am aware.
I type the url above list of links in the
Link Library – All Links
section in the admin area and press [Search Links] button.
Can you give me an example of a link and a URL that you are trying to search? Do you really expect users to do searches for exact URLs?
Have you been using the plugin for a long time? Or are you a new user? I get the feeling that a lot of this plugin’s functionality does not seem to work well with you. Perhaps this is the not the right solution for your site.
I gave an example url in the firs post. And second, working exaple.
Maybe this behavior depends on some details in WordPress configuration and you are not able to reproduce that, I don’t know.

I do not understand how you get to URLs with all of these parameters in the address. Normally, Link Library would be on a regular page (e.g. mysite.com/links). Then, when you search for a link, the top address should become something like: http://localhost/links/?searchll=test
Do you mean that you are trying to enter https://bpn.com.pl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=96&Itemid=170 in the search field???
Why would someone search for someone this precise?
The search is meant to let you search for simple things, like a subject (e.g. movies, games, etc…)
This is an EXTERNAL link. My link library lists almost only external links to webpages somewhere in the internet, not to itself.
Sure, but why would someone search for a link with a ton of parameters on your site? Wouldn’t they be searching for a word that could be in the title of that link to then follow that link? If they already know the link URL, why search for it?
Do you mean that you are trying to enter https://bpn.com.pl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=96&Itemid=170
Yes, but even 96&Itemid=170 doesn’t work. It seems, theat & character is main reason.
but why would someone search for a link with a ton of parameters on your site?
This link doesn’t contain words, I want fin quickly a post with that link.
