Hi.I stay in version 3.3.0
All others new version is slow in search to find a product.
I have try all to disable plugins theme.I checked all.
I have 12.000 products but work very well until version 3.3.0 after this version the search is terribly slow (Take 13 seconds to find a product).I ask for your help.Thanks

Hi there,

There could me many causes for an issue like this. You may want to install Query Monitor ( https://wordpress.org/plugins/query-monitor/ ) and see if there are any errors or other notices that may shed light on the issue. You’ll want to do the test with all plugins disabled and a default theme as well.

Also, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.
Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

Howdy 🙂

The first thing that jumps out at me in that system status report is the PHP version. Many people have experienced significant performance increases by updating to PHP 7. I would suggest working with your host to update the PHP version.

With the Query Monitor plugin, if you sort by time do you see anything that takes up an extreme amount of time?

@masternikos We have another user that is experiencing similar issues, they increased their PHP max input vars to 3000 and this helped them with some of the speed issues. Would you mind trying this to see if this helps?

I try in 2 servers vps shared and local host.

Hi @masternikos,

I think at this point adding either Elasticsearch or Redis caching for the database should quite a bit. WooCommerce core is working on database and table improvements which will make performance better, but even when those come along a large database will see benefits from the two tools I mentioned above.

Elasticsearch & Redis are technologies you’d have to install on your server, or ask your host if it’s possible they can install or enable these. If you can get one enabled and running with your host then there are plugins to help integrate WordPress into each of them.
