Search Functionality for multiple tables

    I’ve got several tables within a tab table and I was wondering if there’s an option for a search box for ALL of the tables on that page? I am using the Ajax Search Pro plugin and it works a bit, but didn’t know if there’s an easier way? The Ajax Search plugin needs a lot of tweaking to get it right. I have 14 tables on the page and I’m using a tabbed table to keep it simpler/cleaner. Each table only has 8-10 entries so it’s not a lot to go through, but if I had a search box that could search all tables at once, that would be amazing!

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    No, sorry, that’s not possible out of the box. You would need a custom search field with custom JavaScript code that then passed the search term down to the individual tables search fields. Unfortunately, I don’t have a readily usable solution for that, sorry.
