Yes, I tried to disable plugins before, and tried to do it again and included on a default theme that there search for media worked correctly. So the problem is in my custom theme.
Can it be included in some additional way?

Hi @julmasters,
I would contact the developer who wrote your theme and ask them to investigate. There are many things it could be, and it would be tricky to pinpoint it. Your developer would likely be able to sort this much quicker.
Custom features are not really supported on the WP.org forums as support volunteers do not have access to them.

Oh! I think it will be problematic, because there were several developers and now I’m working with it.

So I found a problem in the theme code. Made a fix and now everything works.
