Search Events not Working

I’m in “MANAGE EVENTS” in the admin panel and whenever I use the Search Events box, it comes back with “There are no events in the database meeting your current criteria.” even when I know there are. I’ve searched for words that I know are in the titles of the events like “Yoga” and “intro”
