• Hello,

I am experiencing a synchronization issue between my WordPress website.

In my WordPress admin dashboard under Settings > Reading, the “Discourage search engines from indexing this site” option is unchecked, and my website’s robots.txt file is completely open to search engines. Everything is correctly configured on the WordPress side.

However, in the Cpanel dashboard, the “Search Engine Visibility” status constantly shows as “Disabled” with a red line. I have tried clearing the caches and fixing file permissions via Security Measures, but the status on the panel does not update. It seems to be a visual UI bug in Cpanel that misreads the ‘blog_public’ database value.

Could you please help me fix this visual bug or force the panel to correctly display the status as “Enabled”?

    Thank you.

What matters most for you isn’t what your cPanel hosting control panel says, but what Google reads from it. Have you registered your website in Search Console? If not, do so, because that’s where you’ll see the truly reliable information that’s also relevant for search visibility.

Unfortunately, I don’t know how cPanel calculates that value. You may need to contact your hosting provider’s support team for clarification. But as I said, that value doesn’t really matter to you.
