Search does not work

    I’ve installed the free version on a test site (running Local on dev machine). All works well except the search function does not appear to work. No results returned when typing in the name (or part of) the name for an event I know is there.
    Is this an artifact of the local nature of the install.
    Since Search is right at the top – I’m concerned about going live if it does not work.

    Hi @bggann,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    There could be a plugin/theme conflict on your end. Could you try running a conflict test?

    If that doesn’t help, could you provide the version of the following?

    1. PHP
    2. WordPress
    3. The Events Calendar
    4. Theme
