Hi,
I have tried to replicate the issue on our test servers, but it seems to be working there. I suspect that one of the 3rd party scripts may catch the keypress events on specific devices, and prevents the typing to continue.
On the console, I see the following script attaching handlers to the inputs input/keypress/keyup and keydown events on your site: https://mc.yandex.ru/metrika/tag.js
I recommend checking that script file, it might be the source of the conflict, I am not sure.
Best regards,
Ernest M.
Hello again.
i have tried everything imaginable. I turned off all the plugins one by one, including WooCommerce, Wordfence, Yoast and etc – Nothing. I deleted the script u adviced – nothing.
May be you will be able to take a look at my problem once more?
Hi,
The script is still present there, and it is the only one that is reported by the browser, that has attached event handlers. Maybe there is another, that is attached when using an iPhone, but unfortunately I cannot check that via the mobile console.
If switching the plugins has no effect, then it is more likely a theme related script enqueued. Switching the theme temporarily might do the trick.
Also, make sure you have the latest plugin version installed (4.7.18), as the previous one had a problem with a minified script. I don’t think, that is related, but it is worth updating nevertheless.
Best regards,
Ernest M.
