Scroll bar not working
-
Hello,
I look forward to using your plugin except I’m not sure how to configure it. Please look at the landing page of the site and you’ll see the content with the overflow scroll. I gave that section a class name as well to put in the custom css rule and got no results.
How do I make your plugin display the scroll bar of my style to that text as well as to the main content.
Thanks.

Hi,
Which web site?
My apologies….long day and nights….the site in development can be found here
In your case, try the following:
1. Go to
Dashboard->Appearance->Scrollbars.
2. Type and save the following values.
– (option name) : (value)
– Target Element Selector:.portfoloio_text
– Element Height:175pxHope it helps.
I’m not sure what is
– (option name) : (value)
Unfortunately my self teaching lessons never got me to the knowledge as to how that works. Do I create those like I did the class. By the way, I added this into the custom css of the scrollbars:
.portfoloio_text { height: 175 px; }No effect.
Hello,
I’m not sure what is
– (option name) : (value)
(option name)means the option name.(value)means the value to enter.By the way, I added this into the custom css of the scrollbars:
You should not need to enter it. Let’s keep it blank.
To see if you are setting options properly, post a screen shot of the setting page accessed via Dashboard -> Appearance -> Scrollbars. Make sure to click on the button that opens the collapsed form container boxes so that the entered values will be visible.
I honestly have no idea what the option name is or the value to go it.
Hello,
I am not sure why you are having a problem of saving options.
As I said in the previous reply, post a screen shot of the setting page of the plugin.
Hi,
Looks like you are missing filling the Target Element Selector option.
Follow these steps.
1. Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Scrollbars.
2. Type.portfoloio_textin the Target Element Selector option.
3. Remove the value set to theWidthoption.
4. Save the options.
5. Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Scrollbars -> Custom CSS.
6. Empty the value set to the text area and save it.Oh wow…thanks for clarifying. I would have been stuck forever trying to figure that out. I’ll play with the colors and set it where needed. Thanks again. You saved my behind on this project.
Great plugin and great work with support to go with it. Very much appreciated.
One last thing, the main scroll bar on the browser, how do I apply it to that scroll bar?
Glad to hear you could make it work.
