    i need to make a site where researchers can submit their journals.
    basically,he/she will log-in ,see a list of category like
    Optical Electronics for january 2014
    Semiconductor tech Monthly etc etc
    he will select any category and see a form to submit the journal in doc or pdf.in the form there will be Name,Institution,Collaborator etc and of course upload fields.

    The admin will review the submitted journals and publish some of them,according to category.
    Now there must be some file submission plugin that can do this.But my concern is the custom fields in the submission form and category.The categories will be updated regularly.

    Any suggestions other than OJS?

    install contact form 7. you can create a single page where you have a form which can have a dropdown menu or checkboxes (or whatever you like) that have all the different categories and a file upload field.

    all form submissions and their attachments will be sent to the email specified in the form creation process.
