Thanks for submitting your report about the new schema change in v17.9. We are having a hard time understanding and reproducing the issue on our end. Since you’re not very familiar with English, would it be possible for you to quickly record a video of what exactly you’re referring to here so that we can understand the issue better?
We look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for sharing the relevant video recording here with us. We understand you set the new BlogPost schema as the default Posts schema on your website but none of the Posts items are showing the relevant schema for you.
Please note the global settings won’t take effect when you set the schema type from the edit post page. So, please go to edit the relevant post page to make sure that you have selected the default schema settings on there.

Batch application of schema is the correct answer.
In the past, there was a case where schemas were applied in batches, but that seems not to be the case now.

Does that mean the issue is now resolved?

It seems to make sense to apply an automatic schema to multiple posts.
really!!! Does it make sense to edit each post one by one?
@itons
For the newly created posts, the default globally set schema would auto-apply. While we are not familiar with the edits you had done in the past, we know for edited posts, you need to do them manually each one by one.
@itons We’re sorry, but we weren’t sure what you meant by your reply. Whereas we didn’t mean to come across as impertinent, we do apologize if our response was felt that way.
Please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist with in this matter.

@itons you might want to get some help with your English translations. This is not an acceptable way to communicate in the WordPress Support forum.
Global settings are currently applied when posts are added, and then require individual editing to modify. This is a rare case when bulk editing would come in handy.
@devnihil would you consider adding bulk editing for Schema types?
Alternatively, perhaps you can share some code to replace a certain Schema type on a certain post type with another Schema type?

Hi @itons
We’re trying to check on https://itons.net/%ec%9c%88%eb%8f%84%ec%9a%b011-%ec%9d%b8%ed%84%b0%eb%84%b7-%ec%9d%b5%ec%8a%a4%ed%94%8c%eb%a1%9c%eb%9f%ac-%ec%82%ac%ec%9a%a9%ed%95%98%eb%8a%94-%eb%b0%a9%eb%b2%95/ and upon viewing the page source, we do see that the schema for the ‘Article’ isn’t showing.
Could you please check and confirm if this is a default WordPress post? Or is it some sort of custom post type?
Please make sure you’ve set up all of the appropriate settings (such as if your website should be a person or organization) for the schema settings in the plugin and see if this helps – https://yoast.com/help/implementing-schema-with-yoast-seo/#what-you-need-to-do
I’ve reported this thread for guidelines violation.
