    Hi Gerrit,

Thank you for your message, and I am glad the plugin is useful for you.

If the “Home” page is assigned as the static Front Page under Settings → Reading, WordPress displays that page at https://polychroma.de/ even though its own permalink is https://polychroma.de/home/.

My plugin applies the custom schema to the post/page itself, so the important point is whether the page is correctly detected as the WordPress Front Page. The schema should therefore be associated with the “Home” page and output when WordPress renders it as the front page at /.

In your case, since the JSON appears at /home/ but not at /, it looks like the plugin’s current page-detection logic is not treating the assigned static Front Page as the page being displayed at the root URL.

I will look into improving the front-page detection so that a page assigned under Settings → Reading → Your homepage displays → A static page is handled correctly, regardless of whether its permalink is /home/ or another URL.

Thank you for reporting this, it’s a useful edge case to address.

    Best regards,
    Jahid

You are very welcome Gerrit. Thank you for reporting the issue and for bringing this edge case to my attention.

I will take a closer look at the front-page handling and make sure it works correctly when a page is assigned as the static homepage.

    Kind regards,
    Jahid
