    After which I close from one date to another, some dates remain open.

    How to solve this?

    Is there any tendency to close all dates and open only some?

    I have to correct myself. Dates are properly closed but on a calendar some dates are marked as available and can not actually be booked.

    Yes, please set the “Availability date range” option of the Service.
