Scatterplot label, x, y convention

I am looking to create something like this: http://www.freewaregenius.com/add-labels-to-data-point-in-an-excel-xy-chart-with-xy-chart-labeler/

with a string as the label. I assumed the order would be

string, x, y

is it possible with visualizer? Are there limits to the variables to plot?
