Scan stuck + Cron missing

I’ve used this plugin successfully in the past, but lately (I’ve updated many things since then) the scan has remained stuck at scanning Advanced Custom Fields. I’ve read in the FAQ that wpephpcompat_start_test_cron is required to be running properly, so I used the Crontrol plugin to find it, and it’s not listed at all.

What’s the problem here?
