Says site under development!

    Hi I am trying to publish my blog and it says that I have. But when I try to go onto my site it just says site under development.

    I know this gets asked all the time and I have seen replies saying change directory files etc.

    I’m new to all this computer stuff so if someone could take me through it that would be amazing.

    either you have a maintenance plugin active or some setting in your theme which is displaying this message.

    One more possibility to add to @laliz’s, your web host may have files in your root directory that provide that ‘under development’ page for you until you’re ready to go. Log in to your hosting account and use cPanel (File Manager) and look for and rename index.html or home.html (or similar) to old-index.html.

    Or easier, ask your web host to do it. 🙂
