Hi – So I set up a gallery to have 3 columns, but it’s only showing 2. Anyone know why? Here’s the code for the gallery:

    [ngg_images source=”galleries” container_ids=”17″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails” override_thumbnail_settings=”1″ thumbnail_width=”240″ thumbnail_height=”160″ thumbnail_crop=”1″ images_per_page=”50″ number_of_columns=”3″ ajax_pagination=”1″ show_all_in_lightbox=”0″ use_imagebrowser_effect=”0″ show_slideshow_link=”0″ slideshow_link_text=”[Show slideshow]” order_by=”sortorder” order_direction=”ASC” returns=”included” maximum_entity_count=”500″]

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

@magicmagdelene – In almost all cases, this will be due to the content width of the area where you inserted the display and the sizes of the thumbnails you are using for the display … http://take.ms/iwJlf

I would suggest either using the default zero (0) columns and/or adjusting the thumbnail sizes you are using in that specific inserted display.

    Thanks!

Hi Imagely – Thanks for the response. However, the gallery having the problem is set up identically to my other galleries, which seem to be okay. At least, I think I set it up identically. The thumbnail size on the Tarot Gallery is the same (240×160) as say, my Living Statue gallery (http://alissadirato.com/living-statue-gallery/) or Face Painting gallery (http://alissadirato.com/face-painting-gallery/), which show 3 columns.

    The text for the tarot gallery reads: [ngg_images source=”galleries” container_ids=”17″ display_type=”photocrati-nextgen_basic_thumbnails” override_thumbnail_settings=”1″ thumbnail_width=”240″ thumbnail_height=”160″ thumbnail_crop=”1″ images_per_page=”50″ number_of_columns=”3″ ajax_pagination=”1″ show_all_in_lightbox=”0″ use_imagebrowser_effect=”0″ show_slideshow_link=”0″ slideshow_link_text=”[Show slideshow]” order_by=”sortorder” order_direction=”ASC” returns=”included” maximum_entity_count=”500″]

The text for the living statue gallery reads:

Please disregard. You were correct with telling me the blue area was all there was for content. The problem wasn’t with the gallery, but with the page, which was not set up to be full page, as the other pages were.

Thank you so much for you help!
