    Use to use ftp and phpmyadmin for site migration, then had a problematic one day with a site where the mysql database had encoding issues. Spent hours trying to identify and solve the particular encoding. In the end tried this plugin (different approach) and worked like a charm.

    Would definitely recommend and use this for any site migrations in the future.
