Hi! somebody checked my website to improve it (speed, etc) and he mentioned that each time I upload a picture, the theme saves 54 versions of that picture (different sizes etc). This is insane and now there are over 100000 pictures in the database. Is there a way I can switch this of?

Hi,

The theme does not create 54 version of a picture. I don’t think WordPress.org would allow such a theme on their repository.

There could be other image plugin on your website which creates and uses their own image size. You can remove any image plugin that you are not using.

There is no option to “switch it off”, and the theme requires it’s image sizes to keep it’s layout.
