The DB is filled with info like
“Reduced by 1.8% (210.0 B) – Previously Optimized” in the image metadata.
Can we remove this? if I don’t need to know what was saved I’d rather not waste space.

It’s all in _ewwwio_images already

If you know how to work with serialized data, you can certainly remove it. Just unset the ewww-image-optimizer index in the metadata array for each image attachment.
