    Hi
I am using wordpress not in the root directory of my blog and have now installed nextgen gallery voting. when I change to “settings” and want to change some, click on save default, it shows me the not found page. I think I’ve already found the error: Its because the “save defaults” button is not provided to work in a subdirectory.. but i don’t know how to resolve this sort of problem.
    Can You help me?

PS: I am not able to read nor write html, but I’m willing to learn!

    Hi web711

I haven’t ever tried making WP run outside of the root directory, but I think I see what the problem is.
Give me some time and I will see what I can do to release a fix, or at least a way to work around the problem for now.

So I’ve just installed WP in a sub directory, and everything seems to work perfectly. The plugin is using WP’s default functions to figure out the URL it is installed at (get_bloginfo('url')), so it makes sense that it will work.

Are your WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL) under WP’s general settings set correctly?

Is there any more information you can give me that might help me figure out why it isn’t working for you?

I have made a change to how I get the admin URL. I am now using get_admin_url() as 2.2.1.

Please update your site and let me know if there are any more issues.
