Save content on page

    Hello,

    Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I am working on an application that I’d like to give users the option to save content on a page to a directory only accessible by that user.

    For instance the user does a search and wants to save the results for later viewing. So far I’m thinking of adding a field to the wp_users table in the database or a folder on the server with a randomly generated URL or something like that.

    Obviously if there is a plugin or known hack for this type of thing then I’d use that but a few searches have turned up pretty fruitless.

    Can anyone advise on the best method for accomplishing this type of thing?
