Sass file not there

Hi,
Im trying to change the breakpoint of my site so the hamburger menu appears around 1000px, instead of 768px ish.
Im suprised this is a difficult option, maybe it should be built into the theme customise section.
Anyway, Im looking for the Sass folder within assets and its not there.
I would though be very grateful if there was an easier way to use my child functions.php file or css file to achieve this.
