Salvaging my blog

Hi,

I foolishly tried to upgrade a WP without backing up. Somehow I made a mistake and ended up with a blank screen. Just white. That was 6 months ago.

After looking through the codex I have figured this out a bit. I reinstalled a version I thought would be safe. 2.5. Then I edited the wp_config to fit the database which was and still is intact. So now I can load the page. It shows the default theme, with photos missing. Whenever I click anything its not available.

I am glad that I can see the Titles of my old posts and read the previews but thats all I have.

I don’t know what version I had originally installed.

Any advise on how I can salvage this blog?
