No, absolutely not! I’d say the opposite, as you get more and more features with every new update, allowing you to manage your store better!
I’m curious about your question, though… Can you tell us which version of WooCommerce you use currently? Are you worried about updating? Why do you expect a loss in sales for this?
Having the latest version of any software is always the recommended option so you can get the latest and newest features, security patches, fixes, etc. If you have any specific concerns or questions, please share them with us, and we’ll be happy to clarify them!

I am using 8.6.1 as of 2 days ago and sales dropped to 1/4 of what they were. I had to update from 8.4 due to i all of a sudden could not see the woocommerce home report page after update of min max qty. I am use to 80 orders a day, now go 13 yesterday

It seems you’re having issues with other plugins on your installation. Can you share more details about whether there’s anything broken at the front end of your shop? Going to your shop page, individual product pages, searching for products, product categories, cart or checkout, or even placing orders?
Please share with us the necessary information below for us to investigate the issue further:
- System Status Report which you can find via WooCommerce > Status > Get system report > Copy for support.
- Fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Aside from the Min/Max Quantities plugin, I see the fatal errors with PayPal Payments reported, also.
