I haven’t used that plugin, but could try helping you see how they could work together…
How does LearnDash work to provide access to courses you sell? Does it use WordPress roles or capabilities? You could try User Role Editor to look into that. https://wordpress.org/plugins/user-role-editor/
If you use LearnDash to sell the course, I imagine it controls access to it as well. What do you use s2Member for? Could you explain the setup you’re trying to achieve?

Hi Christian
Well everything was working within learn dash until I applied the Social Learning child theme and Paidmembership Pro.
L/D has an optional plugin – course grid – see the demo here:
http://www.learndash.com/work/course-grid/
It takes the price field and slams it into a ribbon.
But – PMP replaced course grid with its own course masonry view – but for anything to work L/D Course Grid has to be disabled – when disabled – ribbon is lost as PMP does not have that functionality built in.
Neither party is keen on fixing this – so I am exploring how it might be done – the ribbon uses the featured image ….
I’m using BuddyPress Boss Social Learner theme (child) and Visual Composer so I am looking for options there as well…
Thanks for the update. 🙂
I’m still not sure I understand what you’re trying to do with s2Member. I imagine that LearnDash already lets you sell the course and only allow access to users that paid for it. What do you want/need to add s2Member for?

Cristian – I have moved past that – I am using Paidmembership Pro – and what i want to do is provide membership level access to groups of courses – something L/D does not support on its own – it only provides access to single courses…. not categories or groupings…. nor does it support subscription based access… which is very much how most if not all online learning portals operate today – offering a course, groups of courses, and group or all under a monthly subscription.
Evidently I accidentally posted my other showstopper here – the dropping of the price ribbon by the Social Learner theme…
Ah ok, so you’re not using s2Member, but Paid Membership Pro? Sorry for misunderstanding you earlier.
Then their forum may be a better place to find someone that can help you with it. https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/paid-memberships-pro
I hope you sort it out without much trouble! 🙂
