I have products that I stock and want customers to be able to choose either a rush option or standard option (working fine). Then I have products that are not able to be rushed so they can only choose standard shipping (working fine). If someone orders one of each I need it to only offer the standard shipping but it still offers both options.
I have set up shipping classes: in-stock and non-stock and have things in their correct category. I then set up flat rate standard shipping of XXX for both classes and for the rush shipping only added that to the “in-stock” shipping class.
When I add both an in-stock and non-stock item to the cart I need it to only offer the standard shipping option not both. Any ideas?

Hi there,

I think that the easiest way to achieve it would be by using a plugin like “Conditional Shipping and Payments“. This plugin allows you to hide shipping or payment methods based on (amongst other variables) the products and shipping classes that you have in the cart.

This way, for example, you should be able to hide your “Rush” method if there’s a product with the “non-stock” shipping class in the cart.

Another workaround would be to manually do it as a PHP customization using the “woocommerce_package_rates” filter to filter the available shipping methods on the go and remove the “Rush” one if the cart contains a product with this shipping class.
