• Hello fellow WordPressers,

Yesterday I tried to share my galleries along my multisite setup. I read somewhere to edit the gallerypath in ngg_options but that wrecked my Nextgen install. As we speak I can not access the ‘ Other options’ and ‘ Gallery settings’ pages. So no option to reset Nextgen back to stock. When I try to open those pages I get a RuntimeException thrown at me. To be precise /var/www/*DOMAIN*/wp-content/plugins/nextgen-gallery/products/photocrati_nextgen/modules/nextgen_other_options/image_options_tab.php is not a valid MVC template. I spent a couple hours trying today to fix this issue but I can not get it to work again. I tried to remove all the ngg entries out of the sql database, no luck. I tried to rollback a version, no luck. So right now I am running out of options.

Is here someone who sees the problem and could provide me with a fix?

  • same problem. I HAD to upgrade from 1.9.3 because suddenly it couldn’t see the path /wp-content/gallery. When I upgraded (still couldn’t see my galleries) I couldn’t access ‘Gallery Settings’ or ‘Other Options.’ RuntimeException Thrown and the same ‘not a valid MVC template’ message.

@wilmardo – Our external Reset Tool plugin may help you get this sorted out. Please send us a Bug Report (http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/report-bug/) with your site specifics and ask us for the plugin. We will get it out to you as soon as possible.

@herstory4 – Although the issue you may be having might not be the same there is a possibility using the Reset Tool will help you as well, please send in a Bug Report with your specifics as well.

    Thanks!

Thanks! I just sended in a bug report, I thought about a bug report earlier but I screwed it up myself so I thought that a bug report was not the right place for my problem. Awesome support so far!

But in the meantime, is there a way to share my galleries in my multisite setup? I use /en for my English translation and it would be easy to share the galleries between both my sites
