I am getting a message that my rules are not updating. When I update manually and delete the message, it comes back and it says I haven’t updated rules since November 21st. I went into wflogs and the rules.php are actually updating, but the message will not go away. Any suggestions?

I may have corrected this on my own. I deleted all of the contents in my wflogs folder, and it repopulated within minutes and the message cleared for now. I will come back and repost if the message returns again. As of now, this appears to have corrected the problem.

    Hi @mack99,

Aside from considering clearing any server caches or caching plugins, that would have been my first suggestion in case something had become corrupted. If the notice does come back, you can bypass it by setting logs to use the MySQLi storage engine: https://www.wordfence.com/help/firewall/mysqli-storage-engine/

    Many thanks,
    Peter.
