Backing up your wordpress files is the easiest thing in the world. you don’t even need a plugin for it if you have an ftp terminal. So what is a backup plugin for? to take the headache of backing up the database and importing it away from you. but this plugin produces corrupt database files and there is NO RESTORE FUNCTION. So what is the point? After days of totally frustrating attempts of using this plugin (pro version that I paid for), I did it in 5 minutes with DUPLICATOR, no hiccups, and it’s FREE!!
    don’t bother, use DUPLICATOR

@carloswagner, I do not recall seeing a support ticket from you in regards to the issues you were experiencing. I am sorry you had issues with the database backup, but we’re more than happy to help you explore why this might be happening. Many users are using this feature without error, so it may just be a particularity of your system or data. Can you clarify exactly what kind of issue you were experiencing?

this is a link where you yourself state that there is no restore function for this plugin:

there is a ticket about this issue (to which the responses took much longer than the lighting speed to which you reacted to this review ) in which you asked me to upload the backup file to an ftp address. I did, and was told that the backup file contained no issues. So I gave up on the matter and solved the problem otherwise. Later I tried to use another one of your backups. Again to no avail, which is why I turned to another free plugin that worked. Thanks for offering to help. But I have uninstalled the plugin and deleted the backups, since I don’t intend to use it again.
    kind regards

The restore functionality is being developed. However, you never opened a support ticket about any issue with your backup file. We’re still more than happy to help you in any way we can.

I disagree. This plug-in will send a regular backup of my databases to me. That’s all I want and it seems to be doing it perfectly.
