    The RSS widget isn’t working correctly for my itunes affiliate feed. It drops some of the html and I get the error “Missing offer id cookie”. Anyone have a fix for this?

    I have tried other RSS plugins and they each do the same, the feed works perfectly in the browser. I have contacted the affiliate and they said WordPress is causing it.

    Suggestions??

    I’m having a similar issue. I don’t get the dropped html, but I do get the “missing offer id cookie” error on clickthrough.

    Would be very happy to hear about a fix or a nudge in the right direction.

    This is not a fix, but a workaround…

    1. In LinkShare on the iTunes page: Click on RSS Feed Generator and create your RSS Feed Link. Copy it.

    2. Go back to the iTunes page: Click on Link Maker Tool, then over to the right of that page click on Bulk.

    3. Paste your copied RSS Feed Link and click on Get Affiliate Links.

    4. Copy, paste and save the newly generated link just as you would normally.

    This worked great for me. I hope it works for you too. Good luck with it!
