RSS Feed Retriever Alternative

After weeks of search and testing, I finally found an alternative for this plugin with similar functionality – displaying feeds with featured image without creating posts or requiring paid “pro” features – that is compatible with WP 6.9 and 7.0. The solution I found was Webyapp: RSS News Grid. I am not affiliated with the developer of that plugin, but wanted to point it out to other RSS Feed Retriever users since it may be a solution for you as well.

RSS Feed Retriever was a great, simple plugin that did what was needed. When it broke with the WP 6.9 update and has since been abandoned, I had to keep some sites on 6.8.3 because I was having a difficult time finding another similar solution that would still work with 6.9 and 7.0.
