@crumpola Can you try the below check your feed once more? The only configuration change I made is the ajax=”false” value, with your feed loading fine from my testing.
[wp_rss_retriever url="http://feeds.christianitytoday.com/christianitytoday/ctmag/" items="10" excerpt="50" read_more="true" credits="true" new_window="true" thumbnail="200" cache="12 hours" ajax="false"]
@crumpola Great, many thanks for the update, and nice work on the site.
If you have a moment please considering leaving the plugin a review.
Thanks James on a related matter, can AMP help speed up the site? It’s running low on google test

@crumpola Correct, AMP can indeed help with your site performance. I didn’t check your site before going standard mode AMP so I’m unable to perform a comparison, but I suspect there’s a noticeable improvement. It does look like you have some features on your site which may have minor performance considerations. If you’re including videos and feeds these all make external requests, as do webfonts, social media snippets and ad code.
For performance related queries you can submit queries with the experts using the Webmaster Community Help Center.
Also bear in mind when your site is served from AMP Cache that brings further performance improvements (You’ll find your Google AMP cache site below)

OK thanks I’ll leave review
@crumpola the plugin works on the front-end side, the test that you did:

Some problems are related the the server side: “Server response time: 3,3s” this affects your score and you can improve it doing some work with your hosting o devops team.
