This is what I get when i login into WordPress:-
You mean logging in to your site gives you that error? WordPress shouldn’t be erroring when you login like that, especially not a google error.
Hi Ipstenu
Sorry I get that message, when I go into the admin.
Kevin
Perhaps your hosts are blocking access to the Dashboard RSS feeds… badly?
Can you get in at all? If you can, just remove those rss feeds from your dashboard.
Hi Ipstenu
Yes I can get in the site.Ok will try that,if that fails to work, what else do you suggest?
Kevin.
Just been to google for a RSS feed
And it said the following:- The plugin is currently compatible with downloadable WordPress versions 1.5 through 2.5. (Please note that βtagβ feeds in later WordPress versions are not supported.)
As I’m now on 3.1.3 looks like I can’t use that.

Just been to google for a RSS feed
… I have NO idea what you’re talking about now.
What I’m suggesting is you go to wp-admin and REMOVE the feeds from the Dash. Did you do that, yes or no?
At this point, you may need to share a screenshot of the error.
I have the same problem too. Donot know how it happens? Everhting seems fine so I just ignore this error notification, but I really want to know what potential hazard it may have on my site.
My WordPress version is 3.2.1 The error appears in the dashboard under “incoming link.”
Dong
It’s usually the case of your host not letting the RSS feeds in like that. Some don’t.
Thanks for the clarification. So it does not matter to me. Good to know.
Hello.
I am new to WP anf this is my first blog.
When I log into WP and go to my Dashboard a see this error message
RSS Error: A feed could not be found at http://blogsearch.google.com/blogsearch_feeds?scoring=d&ie=utf-8&num=10&output=rss&partner=wordpress&q=link:http://www.easy-couponing.com/
in the “incoming links” box.
I have no idea what this means or what should I do to fix it.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Carolina
It means you have no incoming links. Don’t worry about it yet. You’re new and the site is new π
Thank you so much. I have been so worried about it because I couldnt understand what was going on.
I fell better now π
Thanks again
Carolina
Hi, Ipstenu.
You pointed out two possible causes:
1. the case of your host not letting the RSS feeds in like that.
2. It means you have no incoming links.
Is there a definitive answer for this kind of problem? It’s hard to believe that WordPress would change in such an ugly way the message you get when there are no incoming links…
