RSS Error after update to WordPress 3.2

    After updating to WordPress 3.2, I get the following error “RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Too many redirects.”

    Steps taken:
    1- Deactivating all plugins did not resolve the RSS error
    2- Switching to the Twenty Eleven theme did not resolve the issue
    3- Reseting the plugins folder did not help either
