@pacadmin01,
It works with WordPress default roles. Not sure how it works the roles with Ultimate Members.
Read the documentation tab anyway to be sure you are setting the “roles” properly.
Kind regards,
Javier
It appears it doesn’t work with Ultimate members roles. The upload worked when I tried Subscriber but it doesn’t recognize the Ultimate Member role as a valid role.
Is there any intent to add this functionality as I would think there are other Ultimate Member plugin users who would find that useful?
@pacadmin01,
No more users have asked, so please read this post: https://codection.com/como-puedes-pedirnos-una-mejora-para-uno-de-nuestros-plugins-libres-o-premium/.
This is in Spanish but please use some kind of translator.
There we explain how we consider this kind of work. In this case, we think you are the first one who needs it so we think this is not a general feature.
You can talk with us to see how it will be done if you want to support the develop.
I discovered the error I was making. I was using the role title instead of the roleID
hi, @pacadmin01 !
I see you solved it, please explain me how? where you get the role ids, and how do you make it work, where do you label or name the csv. Thank you

one of the pages provided by Ultimate Member is called User Roles. The page shows both the role title and role id. In the case of the default WordPress roles, both fields are the same value. In Ultimate Member the role title is what it has been set up and displayed as, but the role id has a “um_” prefix. Using that in the role field in the CSV file works.
thanks @pacadmin01 but the name column is ROLE?
