Role Mappings not being saved

    My role mappings are not being saved for some reason. I have specified my Role Field Name under Database Table Mapping, but when I add entries in Role Settings -> Role Mappings, they are not being saved. For example, I put in this under Role Mappings:

    1 / Administrator
    34 / — BLOCK —

    After saving, it has the two entries, but they are blank/default:

    <blank> / Subscriber
    <blank> / Subscriber

    The field in the external table is a numeric field, but I tried another field that was text just to test, and got the same result. Any ideas on what’s wrong?

    Interesting – this seems to be an issue with newer versions of WordPress.

    I haven’t found the exact breaking point but I can make this work and break this by changing versions.

    I’ll start looking into this.

    Hey @kosmic7 and @tschmoyer,

    I’ve got three changes going out with the next release.

    I’ve completed two and this is the third. We’ve got a bank holiday here in the UK on Monday so I’ll strive to get this out by the end of the long weekend.

    Really appreciate the beers @tschmoyer.

    I’ve just released version 1.9.0 of the plugin.

    I believe this solves the issue 🙂

    I would love to hear feedback to know if this is now resolved for you both.

    For now, I will mark this as resolved but will change the status if you find further issues.
