Role Base Access Issue

    I have granted role base access to Seo Admin Role from admin dashboard . But Seo admin is not able to access schema structured data option at his dashboard as there is a default capability check for manage_options in the plugin code . But i don’t want to give manage_options capability to SEO Admin because some other things starts showing to him. So how can i fix the issue pLease help. As this plugin is related to SEO to i want SEO admin can use and do his stuff as per his need . But its not granting permission to SEO Admin.

    Hi, Can you please kindly let us know from which plugin the seo admin role is comming so that we will try to recreate this on our end and help you to resolve the issue ASAP?

    Actually we want to know which plugin are you using for the role base, So that we will assist you accordingly to resolve the issue.

    Hi , thanks very much for the response. Actually, I am using User Role Editor Plugin. And from the Schema Plugin Advance Setting I am selecting SEO Admin for Role based Access

    But in the plugin file – plugins\schema-and-structured-data-for-wp\admin_section\common-function.php , there is a custom code written through which the access is working according to the static roles defined in it .That function is below in the screenshot:This function is written as static means static roles are defined in the function ,so for SEO Admin it’s not giving permission also we don’t want to give manage_options capability to SEO Admin role, he should be able to access schema plugin without having manage_options capability.



    I think you are getting what io am trying to say. Please ask if you have any query.

    Hi, Sure. We are working on this bug with high priority and it will be fixed in the upcoming update 1.17. Once we pushed the update then we will let you know back.
