Robots.txt not found | WordPress.org

Hello,

I am using the latest version of wordpress and Google XML sitemap. Whenever I access robots.txt, I get the following message:

404 Not Found

nginx/1.4.6

Is this somehow related to this plugin?

Hi,

the robots.txt file is generated by WordPress, not the plugin. If WordPress generates this file, the plugin will add one line to it. But for this, the basic process has to work.
